The East African Wild Life Society (EAWLS) cordially invites you to participate in the 9th Edition of the Forest Challenge 2024 at Kereita Forest in Kiambu County on Saturday, November 30, 2024. This year’s theme, “Nurturing Nature for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” highlights our unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
About the Forest Challenge
The Forest Challenge is not just an event—it’s a unique and exhilarating experience! This collaborative initiative, organized by EAWLS in partnership with the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) and Kijabe Environment Volunteers (KENVO), aims to mobilize resources for the restoration of Kenya’s key water catchment areas. It’s also an opportunity to enhance the livelihoods of forest-adjacent communities and build resilience against the effects of climate change.

Participants in the Forest Challenge will take on a run course through the stunning Kereita Forest, filled with fun and challenging obstacles along the circuit. This is your chance to immerse yourself in nature, test your physical limits, and enjoy a day of adventure and camaraderie in a beautiful natural setting.
